Family dental insurance, Dental PPO plan with no waiting periods
I need to get dental insurance and I live in PA would like to buy a PPO dental insurance plan in order to stay with our family dentist. Our family dentist does not take any other dental insurance plans but PPOs. I have been looking into PPO plans but they all seem to have long waiting periods. Is this common or are there any PPO dental insurance plans without waiting periods?

Yes it is common for PPO dental insurance plan to have waiting periods. They can very depending on the plan so you just need to read the plan terms and conditions to make sure you understand the limitations each plan has.

Yea sorry to say that when you get a dentist that will not accept HMOs or dental discount plans then the very dental insurance plan you need to get in order to stay with that dentist is normally going to have waiting periods and yearly max limits.
I was force into choosing another dentist just because I could not afford his dental cost without insurance and PPOs were just too costly for me to get in order to stay with him

Well if cost is a factor changing dentist may not really be all that bad. I change dentist all the time. I just want a dentist that knows what they are doing and one that my dental plan takes.
I am not going to buy a more expensive PPO dental plan with all the limits just to stay with a dentist so that dentist can pay his car bill because of me. Sorry to me just silly. I care about my family getting dental work but not the dentist that want to charge me an arm and leg to go to them.
