Kids Dental Braces for low income families
I have a daughter that should really have braces to correct some crooked teeth issues. I just can not afford them for her and I feel really bad about it. Does any one know how to get braces for a child on in a low income family? Any help or advise please

Try looking into getting dental insurance in place first. Assuming that you do not current have dental insurance for braces. Make sure you do not start any dental work for the braces until you have dental insurance in place because you can not chase down dental insurance for braces after the fact.

If you do have dental insurance and the cost of braces are still out of your reach. Then try looking into any dental clinic or dental school. They are normally much cheaper and may be more affordable for you.

I agree with the dental school thing. I really wanted to have braces but found it really hard to find dental insurance for adult braces. The one dental insurance plan I did find was still to costly for me.
I check into a dental school that was about 30 miles from me but they were half the cost for braces even with getting dental insurance. I never had any problems and my teeth came out looking great.

Dental schools are okay but if you do not have dental insurance you should get some in force anyway. There is no doubt that you would be saving money for your dental services and you would be able to go to a regular dentist.
In my opinion there is a high chance of risk at a dental school after all they are dentist still learning how to do things.
