Children teeth care, brushing baby teeth
My eight month old son just started cutting his teeth. I have been wiping them down after each feeding but I am not sure when I would start brushing them. When do I start using a tooth brush? At what age are you able to use toothpaste? Any helpful tips about about baby teeth care would be nice thanks.

You can start to use a baby tooth brush now. But it it is easier for you they also make finger toothbrushes. As far as tooth past you do not want to use any toothpaste with fluoride until your child can spit.
They make toothpaste for babies and children that do not have fluoride so look for that in the baby section or in the toothpaste area.
You should also think about taking your child to see a dentist soon. It is now strongly suggested that a child see a dentist when they first cut their teeth or when they turn one.

I did not start using any type of toothpaste until my child one 18 months. Then I would use only a very little. Do try and get toothpaste that does not have any fluoride in it.
My son dentist told me not to use fluoride toothpaste until my son was at least five years old. Reason being is that children like to eat toothpaste and that can be very harmful to them if it has fluoride in it.
So if you do use fluoride toothpaste make sure you keep it out of the reach of children.
