Kids dental insurance, getting the right plan for my family
I do not know what to get for my family’s dental insurance. I do not like want we have but I do not know what is better. My husband is leaving it up to me to find something better if I want because he does not really care about it. We have a 1000 max and a $50 deductiable. Two times we went over our max limit with the kids but he does not care. Can you help

You may want to look at dental HMO insurance plans as an option. They normally do not have annul max limitations or waiting periods.
You may also like an HMO dental plan better the PPO dental plan since your cost is laid out for you. You know ahead of time your cost for dental services and you only pay the schedule cost listed on the plan.
No Claims forms and no going over a UCR rate or max limit amount.

I agree with Robert HMO dental insurance plans may work well for and your family. However there is an other plan option which is a dental discount plan.
Much like and HMO insurance it also has no waiting period, annul dollar max limitation, and no deductibles or claim forms to fill out. Like an HMO dental insurance you do need to go to a dentist in the plans net work of providers.
However a dental discount plans are not to be confused with dental insurance, they are not regulated by state insurance departments.
You get the discount or reduce fees for any dental services you have done by a provider of the plan. Therefore, you are only paying the dental office the discounted prices for the dental service render.
