Kids baby teeth care, When should you start brushing baby teeth?
I have a ten month old son. He already has quite a few of his baby teeth in. Right now all I am doing is wiping them with a warm damp towel. When do I start using toothpaste and a brush? When is a good time to take him to the dentist? Do you use a special tooth brush? Advise needed on baby teeth care. Thanks.

I started using a baby tooth brush on my daughters teeth right before she turn a year old. You can find baby tooth brush kits in the tooth paste section of your local food or drug stores.
Where I got mine were at Target. You may want to start out with a finger brush but I just went right to a baby toothbrush and that seem to work well for me.
When it comes to the toothpaste just make sure it is fluoride free. It is very important not to use fluoride toothpaste until you know your child will not swallow it.

Most people are now saying that you should take your child for their first dental appoint when they cut their first tooth.
I took both of my child to see the dentist before they turned two. But that was at a time when generally speaking people did not take their child to the dentist until they started entering pre-school.
