Dental for Children, four baby teeth with cavities.
So I just found out that my four year old son has four cavities in his baby teeth. His dentist told me that they are small but filling should be done to avoid them getting bigger. I told the dentist that I would need to talk things over with my husband and then get back with his office.
The truth of the matter is that I am a single mom, with no dental insurance. My employer only pays for health insurance for my son and I. Up until now paying for my son’s dental needs were not an issue.
Do I really need to have filling done on my sons baby teeth. After all given enough time his baby teeth are just going to fall out anyway. I am asking this because having the filling done are going to be costly to me since I do not have a lot of extra money.

Buy a dental discount plan for you child so that you can at least cut the cost of having the filling done. The do one at a time as you can afford to have them done.
Do not do nothing. Cavities will get bigger and I am sure you do not want your child to have a toothache and be in pain because you did not act in taking care of his teeth.
