Dental care for kids, Dental plan for Canadians
I live right on the border line of NY. So going to NY is not an issue I do not have current dental for my family and we do see a NY dentist when we are in need of dental care. Is there a way I can buy dental insurance for my family.

Just depend on the plan you may be wanting to buy. With a discount plan you can use it in any state but you need to make sure you have a dentist in the plan you can go to.
With insurance you would want to check with the plans underwriting and terms. They may not state if you can use it in other state so you would need to call and confirm.

Normally on HMO dental insurance plan they are only good for the state you live in since you are picking a plan provider. On PPO dental insurance plans you may be able to live in one state but go to a dentist in another as long as the same plan is available in the state you want to see a dentist in.
