Family dental care, I have a sharp pain in my top molar
I have a really bad sharp pain in my top right side molar. Also on the opposite side a tooth hurt there as well but just not as bad an not as often. The pain comes mostly when I am eating. If I bite into something on the wrong side it sends a shooting pain. I have not been to the dentist in about two years but at the time I had no cavities. What can this pain be from? And how do I get it to stop?

You do know that a lot can happen in two years right?? It sound like you have cavities now. The only way to fix your teeth problems now is by seeing a dentist.
There are ways to kill pain but that does not stop the decay. Get your tooth looked at now before it becomes an even bigger issue.

I agree sound like you have cavities now. You can take Advil or Alive for the pain but it will not stop the toothache 100 percent.
I use to use garlic cloves to help numb toothache pain until I got to the dentist to fix the tooth. I think you do need to see a dentist. Root canals are no fun so make sure it does not get to that point.

If you do not have dental insurance right now to see a dentist and that is why you been putting it off. May I suggest you get dental insurance or a dental plan now.
Look for either and HMO dental insurance plan or a dental discount plan. Both normally do not have waiting periods and will be able to address your toothache needs. You need to see a dentist if you are having that much pain it is a sign that something is wrong with your teeth.
