Question: Can a baby just have rotten baby teeth? My sister’s baby is just now cutting his first few baby teeth, yet the teeth that are coming in look rotten.  His teeth  are grayish white in color.  She does not know why this is happening.

Answer: She should take her son to see the dentist. Her baby could have Baby Bottle Tooth Decay.  If she lets her son sleep with a baby bottle with anything other then water it can cause tooth decay on baby teeth.  This can also happen if you let a baby just have a bottle all day as a pasifer.  There is a chance that it is just the color of his teeth since not all teeth are bright white however without seeing a dentist you do not know either way.
